Yellow Corn #2

The backbone of every poultry ration in the Southeast — typically 55–65% of diet by weight. We source Yellow #2 from vetted origination points across Georgia, Alabama, and the Mid-South. Specs confirmed before we quote. COA on every load.

FOB elevator — you pick it up with your carrier, or arrange your own pull-through. Spot loads and contracted supply available. High-volume truckload quantities, weekly rotations for approved accounts.

Poultry Context

Every point of test weight below 56 lbs/bu directly reduces energy density. Every 0.5% of moisture above spec adds spoilage risk to your bins. We confirm both — not estimate.

Soybean Meal 48%

The primary protein source in Southeast poultry rations — 25–30% by weight in broiler programs. We source dehulled 48% from crush facilities in Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. KOH solubility confirmed on every lot — proper toasting is not optional.

FOB crush plant. You pull it with your bulk tanker or arrange pickup. Spot and contracted volume available. COA on every shipment.

Poultry Context

A ±1% swing in crude protein between loads affects daily feed cost at scale. Urease activity tells you if the meal was properly toasted — undertreated soymeal depresses feed intake and FCR. We check both.

How the Number Is Built.

No opacity. No mystery markup. Here's exactly how your FOB price is calculated.

01

CME/CBOT Futures

We pull the current front-month futures price for corn (C) or soymeal (ZM). That's your market baseline — tied to the actual exchange, not a number we made up last Tuesday.

02

SE Origin Basis

We add (or subtract) the local Southeast basis — the spread between futures and what sellers at specific elevators and crush plants are willing to accept. This is the market in your actual geography.

03

Brokerage Fee

Our per-ton brokerage is stated separately in the quote. It's not hidden in the basis. You know what you're paying for the commodity and what you're paying us. Clean, every time.
